as you all know, kids (especially toddlers) have a short window before they lose interest in your “lame” photo session… so I have to be QUICK and efficient!

We were hoping the twins would have a great time, and oh, did they ever! They ran, they loved the paper airplanes, and they gave us the sweetest smiles.

this was my second time portraying Cat. I got to explore her new studio, filled with her vibrant art. watching her create reminded me of the passion that drives an artist, and it truly humbled me.

we dreamed up a bright, ethereal session—soaked in nature bliss. playful, vibrant, full of personality personality!

there’s nothing quite like capturing the girls' wild, rowdy spirits and a gallery full in color! barefoot, splashing through the waves, and dancing with the sand.

we kept it simple, three generations together sharing the best of times. grandparents’ smiles, little ones full of joy,

after exchanging a few emails, I finally met nila and kevin on a bright afternoon in mount pleasant. the sun hung high, painting the world in golden light, we were aiming for a fun urban session. from the moment we connected, it felt as if I was photographing old friends—it was effortless, almost like serendipity.

though I will always direct and pose my clients, the true beauty always comes from the moments that naturally unfold. if you hire me, believe me, it's not going to be just a photo session—it will be a celebration of your love, your story. I am the lucky stranger with just a little touch of magic, entrusted to capture it, forever.

been a little quiet these past couple of weeks. truth is, family came to visit for a week, and just as they left, I managed to sprain my hip while working out... 🙃 it threw me off my rhythm for a few days, but I’m happy to say I’m feeling much better now.

slowly, I’m finding my way back—catching up on emails and messages, prepping for some sessions next week, and putting the finishing touches on a few final galleries.

a ziploc bag, and any piece of sheer fabric or plastic can work similarly. I also use various filters, like the star and the kaleidoscope, and a prism for more experimental shots. some sessions offer the chance to be creative, so don’t hesitate to experiment, cause your imagination is the limit. ✨

in my experience, this technique works best with prime lenses. for some reason, it’s less effective with my 24-70mm lens. perhaps, it’s due to the quality of the glass in prime lenses?
